Dark Night of the Soul is an unrefined rumination on existential crises: Those that dim the light and extract oxygen from the air of enthusiasm and motivation. The dark, yet witty lyrical content is sonically juxtaposed against the upbeat musical frame; a cross between country and punk, fueled with harmonica riffs and distorted guitars. Dark Night of the Soul reminds us that on these dark nights, existential questions are ‘veils we wear, and know so well’, perpetually waiting at our doorsteps to visit again, even after they've departed.

Hailing from the sun soaked shadows of New York, currently London based, Paige Psyhojos stands at the chewing-gum-littered corner of sincerity and levity. She is an artist, writer and songwriter intertwining her admiration for poetry, notably drawing on themes from the Beat Generation, with sonic elements of country and punk. Her songs are a devotion to exploring the details of life, both the palpable and the overlooked.
